Comprehensive Eye Exams
Our optometry practice in Los Angeles can provide your entire family with thorough eye exams using some of the most advanced ophthalmic instruments currently available. We test for cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus, macular degeneration and numerous other debilitating eye diseases. We will dilate your eyes to check for internal eye diseases and certain systemic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
Treatment and Management of Eye Disease
Our optometrists are certified by the California Board of Optometry and are qualified to prescribe certain pharmacological therapeutic agents. If you develop a red eye or pain in the eyes please contact our office immediately. We will evaluate the problem and either treat you at the office or refer you to an appropriate ophthalmologist.
Contact Lens Fitting and Sales
Our optometrists can evaluate your eyes and determine if you are a good contact lens candidate. If so, eye measurements, a trial fitting and prescription refinements are performed to determine the contact lens type that gives you the best visual acuity, comfort and wearing schedule. Our technicians and opticians will then educate you on the handling and day-to-day care of your contacts.
Eyeglasses Fitting and Sales

​The fit of glasses is important for the best correction for your refractive problem. Lenses sitting too far from or too close to your face can make glasses ineffective. When you get glasses, our qualified optometrists and opticians at the Los Angeles Eye Center and Clinic have experience in fitting glasses and can help you select your perfect fit from our wide selection of frames.

​We can make your lenses here at LA Eye Center!  
Our optical laboratory can produce single vision, multifocal or progressive lenses either clear or tinted, in either single piece or three-piece frames. Often, they can be finished while you wait! Depending on our schedule, the glasses can be rushed and ready by the next day. Charge for this varies from $10-$40 depending on the order.
